Most surprising college fb score past weekend?
GT demolishes UK 66-24

ND beats MSU

Ohio pummels Marshall - my how the once mighty have fallen.

Duke, yes DUKE, bests Boston College.

Army beats NU - that felt good to me.

Others?

Temple and Penn was much closer than I would have imagined.

How is ND beating MSU in the picture? They could be 3-0. Turnovers are part of the game but so many at goal line plus two returne for TDs.

GT was the biggest blow out that surprised me.

ND MSU....

BC isn't good this year (0-3)... Of course they haven't started conference play and that's all that matter apparently..03-banghead

Ohio was good last year, marshall hasn't been in a while

GT is 3-0 and destroying everyone(60 pts scored in 2 out of 3 games...Paul Johnson has done well everywhere he has been..G. Southern, Navy)

The big ten is bad this year.....

Notre Dame was favored to win. I'm not sure how that could be a surprise.

Temple is a good MAC team and were pumped up to break the PSU curse. PSU is a moderate Big Ten team. That wasn't surprising.

Vandy smoking Ole Miss was surprising.

FIU beating UCF was surprising.

Indiana State walloped Western Kentucky. WKU is bad, really bad.

Utah destroying BYU was surprising.

Closer to us, WMU destroying CMU was surprising. I thought CMU would show up in a rivalry game. Enos is in trouble there. WMU might be pretty darn good.

Indiana St score stuck out, when we played them a couple of years ago, they were terrible and in the middle of a 20 game losing streak. Glad to see them turn it around.

WMU...thats a tough one.

RE: Most surprising college fb score past weekend?
ND game was very surprising to me. I was hoping, oops I mean thinking, they would not even finish .500 on the season, now they have a chance.

I watched the first half of the Western and Central game and I too was surprised, and now a little scared. I didn't watch the second half, but judging by the first, we may have more problems than Toldeo. I think we may finding ourselves matching up better against Toledo because I just am not sold on their offense, and I think our offense will put up some good points against their D. Western, on the other hand, much like Wisky, has a (what looks to be) more exposive offense, especially with that White out there. Our defense hasn't proven we can stop the pass, I.E. the only time we did was against Army, which would be major cause for concern against Western.

Football is a "what have you done for me lately society" and right now, (and only right now) I think it looks like Western vs. Temple in the MACC. But again, that's right now. I personally think our defense will step it up now that our competition level is changing for the rest of the season.

They have self destructed their last 2 games. I think their coach isn't at good as he thinks he is (why not just start Rees the whole year).

Also M st has beaten ND at home the last couple of times.
