What happens to the Panther Network?
available on Comcast.

What TV rights does the ACC have? Is there going to be any conflict?

I'm not even sure what Tier rights the Panther Network really is. All it really does is have a pregame and postgame show for football and basketball and a few hoops as well as other sports on it. I really can't see how it conflicts with anything in the contracts for the ACC.

I didn't remember about the hoops games but does the ACC grant the rights to say two 'minor' games per year to the schools for such a network?

Of course, I don't expect the Panther Network to be huge, but maybe at some point they start showing other olympic sports.

Does ESPN or others have the rights to those (baseball, lacrosse (won't affect Pitt), etc) and they then sell them to regional networks to broadcast?

Football: ESPN has all rights (every game is shown on ACC Network, ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, or ESPN3.com) but sells some games to Fox for FSN

Basketball: ESPn has main rights, ACC Network si regional coverage. FSN shows games as has a Game of the week ype deal

Baseball: on FSN
