How I see things falling out
WVU to the SEC is what precipitated Cuse and Pitt to the ACC.

The ACC is holding at 14 to see what Texas does. Now that word is coming out that Texas can go to the Pac-12 and keep the LHN, I think you'll see Texas + TTU OU and OSU go to the Pac-12. When that happens, the ACC completes the eastern seaboard media market juggernaut by picking up UCONN and Rutgers.

The Big 12 picks up TCU, Louisville, Memphis, Cincinnati, Houston, and maybe a few others and survives.

The Big East becomes a basketball only conference. Big East leftovers that can't get into the Big 12 plummet back into C-USA to fill the void left from Big 12 raids.

Wildcard: If nobody accepts Notre Dame as a non-football member (appears at this time that's quite likely), Notre Dame could go to the ACC and I imagine Rutgers would be the odd man out.

The ACC will hold at 14 and wait for Notre Dame.
The addition of Pitt and Syracuse is not a home run for football (no offense to either school). The addition of Rutgers and UConn (for football) would be a disaster.

I'd love to see PSU and Notre Dame join the ACC. I guess we'll have to see how lucrative the TV deal will be before we're talking about those 2 schools though.

Lets hope you're wrong. I look forward to posting here as an ACC member soon.
