When I've taken students to the games or my kids, I usually take them down at half to get a picture with Buster and to slap hands with the players when they take the field. I took my poor little daughter down, and man did she get an earful.

"Why are they mad daddy?"
"They're not mad honey, they just want to make sure that the players understand how badly we want to crush the other team........that's all."

Normally there's a few dozen people lining the way for the players. This time there were hundreds. The players had to enter the tunnel single file. People were beating them on the helmets, and the stuff they were saying............

"Finish them!!!!"
"Don't let off the gas!!!!"
"Pour it on!!!!"
"No mercy!!!!"

You could tell the players were caught off guard by it, but it got them revved up.

Some sweet old lady in my house was screaming "Rub their noses in it!" I believe it was me. Heh.
