Let's try to get this place jumping
If Syracuse and Pittsburgh are going to the ACC, then we need people to talk to here. As many Big East fans (especially Cincinnati) are bitter, we should steer clear of the Big East board. I know some Virginia Tech fans post on the expansion board. Like I said though start spreading the word about this place!
Oh, and if you're an ACC fan and reading this why not sign up!?

Agreed... I'd rather stand clear of that board. Me and cuseroc can have this spot on lock.

They interviewed Dr. Gross (SU's AD) and he never denied that we were going to the ACC. He said "we're doing what is in best interest of Syracuse University."
I'm taking that as a "we're outta here"

Wow.
I understand the objective basis for doing this, but symbolically to me, "Syracuse = Big East". Or at least, Syracuse + UConn = Big East.
It's really going to take a while to think of Syracuse as being a part of the ACC. Pitt, too, of course. But somehow the idea of Pitt leaving just doesn't seem quite as hard to believe. I had thought for a while that the Panthers would wind up in the B1G somehow.
Anyway, speaking of ACC, Tulane is getting ready to play the Blue Devils at Wallace Wade next Saturday. Our first trip to Durham since 1973, when the Wave won 24-17. ('73 was one of our best years). And then the Orange will head down to the Superdome a couple of weeks later... Looking forward to it

Yeah it feels really weird. I don't think it has really hit me yet that we are an ACC team. Probably because I'm not really excited. I'm pretty indifferent.
Kick Duke's ass. Haha, even in the ACC I'll never root for them. I also look forward to the Tulane game. I like Syracuse's OOC this year. Other than Toledo it is all private schools. It make it much easier to compete against similar schools. BTW you guy's gotta get an on campus stadium to one up UAB.

Rule number one in the ACC, ABCD = Anybody But Carolina and Duke. Everybody else hates (well severely dislikes) and never pulls for them.

So weird to be posting here! Is there another ACC board that is somewhere? Why is it so dead?
This is so surreal!

About a half hour or so ago this was the 4th most active board on the network... Give this a few days and we'll have a lot more threads and stuff.

Is that when the UConn and RU fans will be joining us?
Wish it were Eers fans instead of the RU fans.
Cheers,
Neil
