You are welcome for WKU carrying the rest of the conference for years in basketball and gaining more publicity for the conference in recent memories by our basketball team in the NCAA tournament 2008 Sweet 16 and 2009 last second loss to Gonzaga.....In football maybe the Sun Belt dropped from second last to the last conference because we got dominated by a IAA team and have a coaching staff that should be in Div. II football....So what do more people pay more attention to, the NCAA basketball tournament on CBS or Sun Belt conference football on ESPN 3 in early Sept?

Tonight was a realization of 1 step forward (going 4-4 last week) and 2 steps back (WKU tonight). With all that said, WKU, keep yer heads up, it may be a long year, but there may be some bright spots that come out of this. That loss reminds me a lot of the 2007 loss the Cajuns had to Mcneese where one bad thing happened, and it all just seemed to spiral. Conversely though, in 2008 we were able to right the ship and we had one of the most prolific offenses in the country and had we not had injuries, we would have finished in a bowl game.

Aside from FIU, tonight was a a bad night for the belt, and a REALLY bad night for WKU.
