The SEC is crazy insanely good when compared to the other BCS conferences. The caliber of athlete at a number of SEC schools blows away anything else out there. The recent historical exceptions have been Texas and Oklahoma. But even then I'd take a Florida, Alabama or LSU brand of talent over those schools.

It's almost not even fair with the SEC. the bottom teams (Tenn, Ms St, etc) could win the other conferences or challenge for their top spot..

USC had unbelievable talent just a few years ago, before the Bush saga.

There is no team in the SEC that would handle going up against Wisconsin this year though. Wisconsin would be way way way too physical for any of those teams.

Have you seen Alabama or LSU play defense? They're every bit as physical as Wisconsin's offense is. That Alabama defense probably has 8 guys on it that will go in the top half of the NFL draft...think about that for a second. The idea that Wisconsin would be too physical for them is laughable.
I'm not saying Wisconsin can't/wouldn't win a game against either of them (it's way too early to come to any conclusions about anybody), but they wouldn't just steamroll either of those two defenses.

You're paying way too much attention to the SEC propaganda machine and their ESPN mouthpieces. There has been a planned and concerted effort by the SEC to promote their conference as the best. It was agreed to after Auburn was left out of the NC game ~2003. They do have a string of National Championships. But a .500 record in bowl games the last two years. The conference is not as strong as a lot of people think.
