EMU UofM
The guys played better today an excellent first half much better than the ASU win. The one thing I wished they had done was assign a LB to shadow thier QB. It was frustrationg watching him run wild and with hardly any of our guys even close.

RE: EMU UofM
I re-watched a bit more than the first quarter again and a few more observations:

I'm not sure most realized how LUCKY UofM was in the 1st quarter.

They were either very lucky or very good or both on the Benz Int. It didn't look like a bad play. I'll give UofM a lot of credit from preventing what might have been an EMU TD.

Also on the D. Robinson (I think) fumble around the 20 yard line (not long after D. Robinson's very long run into EMU territory) UofM was very lucky to recover the fumble (and later score). If EMU had recovered it would have twarted UofM and kept EMU's mommentum.

I continued to notice more frosh playing on special teams. I noticed Kevin Johnson make a tackle. I believe there is a lot of competition for PT even on special teams.

Lot of these frosh on ST will be competing for starting positions maybe next year. KJ will start at safety before he is done at EMU. We could see KJ and Cotton back there for a few years.
