..this side of Matt Leinhart...? How about Pitt's Tyler Palko...?
Well, there's a poll at College Football Palace that requires your attention...

No way. He's no where near leinart, and palko has more experience and looks good.
However, I am of the opinion that in a year or two this UL kid is going to be absolutely top notch.
That makes 3 good UL QB's in a row since I started following college fb closely. Pretty good.

In my opinion you have to watch Omar Jacobs at Bowling Green...He is the next MAC QB to be a NFL star...The kid can flat out play

Counting Brohm, that makes 4 good QBs in a row (Brohm, LeFors, Ragone, Redman). I believe lack of experience may be the only thing holding Brohm back at this point, but we'll see soon enough.
Regarding UofL's other former QBs, they have had a pretty successful run since the 80's except for two (Maryty Lowe and Jason Payne):
Jay Gruden (Jon Gruden's brother)
Browning Nagle
Jeff Brohm (Brian's brother)
Browning and Jeff both played in the NFL and even had a few starts, but of course never hit it big. Jay was a superstar in the Arena League for whatever that's worth, winning several championships for a team in Florida.

Jacobs is really something special. He can carry an entire team on his back to a top 30 ranking.

You're out of your mind Jackson. Palko is OK, but he is nowhere near the QB Brohm is.

I need to see what Brohm does in a starting role first...Putting aside my natural hatred for Pitt players..I think Palko is a very good QB...He lead combacks for Pitt against Notre Dame and West Virginia late in the yr....Did you see him hurddle Pac Man in the Brawl last yr?...the kid has guts
Jackson

I'm not saying Palko sucks. Well, OK he does simply becuse he plays for Pitt. Seriously, he's good. But after what I saw Brohm do in Miami last year . . . that's enough for me.

I am not sure if Palko is the best in the nation but certainly he probably is the best in the BE. Jackson stated correctly, Palko has the experience and the rep. Browhm doesn't have the experience plus he hasn't been tested week after week like he will in the BE.
SwamiEER has an ingrained hatred for Pitt which may be clouding his judgement :)

Brohm may eventually be the best, but give Palko his due. He's proven he's a great starting QB.

No offense, but Pacman is a midget...my mom could hurdle him, and as a Titans fan I wish Palko would have kicked him in the face as he leaped over him!!!!

Actually, why dont you go and hurdle that NFL guy, and tell me how well that works out for you. I'll stick to hurdling...um...my cat as it begs for food in the morning.
