Boise St. -20 @ Toledo
Wow, that seems pretty darn high. I know Boise is good but at Toledo? I'm still torn on who to root for here. I'd love to see a non AQ team rumble the BCS.

Lay the points. Boise will be up 21 after a quarter. I don't think Toledo's much better than your run of the mill WAC team and Boise routinely handled them with ease. Part of the reasoning behind their Nevada loss was that their defense wasn't used to playing past the middle of the 3rd quarter and facing a NFL quality quarterback in Kaepernick.
Love to be proven wrong, though.

I agree that Boise will handle Toledo, and I think 20 is a fairly reasonable spread (I'd say closer to 14), but Toledo is better than the "run of the mill WAC team" by a large margin.

Meh. I wouldn't go that far.
Utah State is a run of the mill WAC team, and they had Auburn on the ropes in week 1. Just like Toledo had OSU on the ropes.
Take Boise and the points. Moore is a special QB

I'd say that the point spread number is about right.

Yeah. OSU isn't able to exploit single coverage from Toledo selling out to stuff the run because they have a 26 year old QB that stinks. That defensive plan will last three plays against Kellen Moore. Doug Martin's good enough to force you to play the run honestly and their D-line is as good as any BCS group I've seen.
They really only lack depth and some defensive speed in their back 7, and there's probably still only half a dozen defenses that could slow them down offensively despite losing two WR's to the pros.
Don't get me wrong. I don't like Boise State. The Cinderella story is old now and replaced by the fact that they're closer to a football only factory then any Big Ten or SEC school we'd care to mock, as their academics are well below everyone in the MAC except perhaps EMU while they spend $20-30 million a year on football. But they're a top 5 team this year, IMO.

Down 11 in the 3rd, Toledo marches to the Boise 11 and tosses a pick in true MAC fashion. *sigh* Then follows it up with two stupid penalties on the Boise State drive following.
27-9, and another upset goes by the wayside.
