Anybody have any info on big non conference games in hoops? I think some schools have released their non conference schedule. Syracuse has not. Just wondering how many times the league gets to mop the floor with the ACC this year.

UC has non-conference home games with Memphis, Dayton, Miami- Oh (downtown), Ohio U., Murray St. to name some already announced. Away games at Xavier, Vandy and will be in Vegas Dec 22nd and 23rd. Looks like possibly LSU on the 23rd.

West Virginia has a home date with LSU, a road game with UCLA and is playing Oklahoma in Ok City...the Mountaineers are also host in the early season Gurdian's classic with a possible game against Kentucky in the semi final round if both schools make it that far

Although the OOC schedule has not been released yet, UConn is in the Maui this year. Have you guys seen how sick this tourney will be?

Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan State and Gonzaga.

6 of those teams are former national champions and 2 went deep in the tourney last year. 04-rock

That hurts seeing that.

30+ years of conference rivalry flushed down the toilet.

Well, at least we got Rice and SMU on the conference schedule. 04-drinky

Miami's just released out of conference schedule does not include UC. Are you sure there is a contract?

I'm not sure who's on UofL's non conference schedule except the dreaded Blue School 03-puke I for one hope we start to scale down the OOC schedule because our conference schedule is murderous. If the BEast ever goes to a conference schedule that is fair across the board, I'd be all for a rigerous OOC schedule. I don't care how impressive your schedule is...you need some wins to get into the NCAAs. Get a win here or there against UConn, SU, Villanova, WVU, Cincy, Marquette, Georgetown, etc. If that don't get respect...well if you're UofL you probably won't get any respect anyway. :bang:

topper, you got your wish. Our OOC schedule is pretty much cake save for Kentucky. I'd even argue that if they don't get Morris back, then it may be a game we're favored to win.

Other OOC opponents: Miami (in Orange Bowl Basketball Classic), Akron, half the MAC, I think Marshall (for now - the CUSA fallout may kill that one), Arkansas State, Prairie View A&M, Richmond (the three previous are in a new holiday tourney at Freedom Hall), and a couple others still TBA.

In other words, we better start the season 12-0.

MLB....no not sure just saw ours at some point over the summer and thought it was listed as usual. Maybe a schedule problem?
It seems we played them the last few years a few days after Xmas? I know we are in Vegas DEC. 22nd and 23rd maybe he did not want a game that close since the team will not get back until X_Mas Eve etc.??? I'll try to find out more. Thanks for the note.

Add UC Davis to the OOC schedule for Louisville.
