RE: CMU Attendance Predictions
Decent guess. Should be a ton more students. Plus CMU should travel better than Nichols.

Assuming the weather holds (calling for Sunny and mid-60's).

I'm going to go with 28,700.

We drew 27,896 in 2009. It should be 25 degrees warmer so I think we draw a little better than 09

RE: CMU Attendance Predictions
115,000...........we'll break the NCAA record.

Seats filled, hills filled, people sitting on the Seeley roof, people hanging from the trees, people on top of the carny wagon that sells elephant ears, people on the baseball field and in the baseball stadium just trying to catch a glimpse, people making human pyramids in the parking lot trying to catch a glimpse. Better get your tickets early :domokun:

Honestly, I hope we travel well, but WAY too many people want Enos' head on a stick and I am among them. More than likely it will be a small Central crowd at Waldo and unfortunately doesn't help your/conference attendance either way.

I'm bummed at the noon start. I can't roll out of bed at 8:00 to tailgate.

K Gazette is reporting almost 14,000 tickets available. So there is 21,000 seats still available when the 7,000 for students are included.

My prediction is 18,500 for the game.

RE: CMU Attendance Predictions
Goddamm, it's a noon kickoff? What was wrong with 2pm like normal MAC football? I figure they'd hate the idea of a 7pm start since the students would leave at halftime and start a fire or two while the cops are stuck moving traffic.

Quote:The kickoff for WMU's home game with CMU is scheduled for noon, dictated by the Mid-American Conference's television deal with ESPN-Regional, which will broadcast the game. Local affiliates, ESPN GamePlan pay-per-view and ESPN3.com will carry it.

My prediction is 18,500 for the game.

30,200 capacity
7,200 students

That leaves 23,000 tickets. 13,800 left = 9,200. Figure the student section is full, that's 16,400.

I doubt if the Central allotment was figured in either. I'm really surprised at the number anyway.

If we don't break at least 25,000, I'd be legitimately embarrassed.

Wouldn't be the first time I've been embarrassed over attendance. I was planning on being there, family health issues came first, shooting for homecoming now.
