AD Pimping?? Bad JuJu or Necessary
I've read alot of the posts concerning the ECU AD, Southern Miss AD etc pimping their schools. I for one, say PIMP ON. I've also heard the term BCS Cartel, which is exactly what it is. So I say PIMP ON. Most of the posters in these threads are fans/students of the CUSAs or other NONAQ schools and some are griping about how the schools are pimping themselves. What choice is there, I ask, but to pimp your school. The BCS Cartel is playing musical chairs and there are a possible few spots and a whole lot of schools running around waiting for the music to stop so they can snag one. I see the MARKET as the hot commodity and alot of the NonAQ like a Southern Miss and ECU "supposedly" don't have a market and the BCS conferences have seemed to make it clear that your record against BCS schools, your fanbase, upgrades to facilities and the concessions you are willing to make, i.e. Football only member, etc. dont matter in of themselves. So other than going undefeated every year like a Boise or a TCU, what can you do but PIMP YOUR SCHOOl. So I say PIMP ON. Whatever it takes to get yourselves in the headlines and get these BCS AQ Conf. to notice you.
