Louis Delmas
Lou went down on the last play of the Lions' victory against Tampa Bay today. Did anyone happen to hear any post game coverage of what his injury is?

That was upsetting. If Gosder Cherilus doesn't lose his mind on the Lion's last posession, that injury probably doesn't happen.

RE: Louis Delmas
I think Amari Spievey was the other one down after that last play. Any word on him?

Update from MLive:
Louis Delmas, who suffered a mild hip injury on the final play of last Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Bucs, was on the practice field Wednesday morning.

Whinny, no word on Spievey, which no news is probably good news.

RE: Louis Delmas
According to Mlive.com/lions today, Delmas was not on the practice field again. Sure hope its nothing serious and they are just trying to get him back to 100% game ready. Fingers crossed.

RE: Louis Delmas
Was it last year that he had the lingering groin injury? Or was it this summer?

Yeah, they said Delmas missed practice yesterday too. Contradicting their article from yesterday.

With that said, I fully expect Delmas and Calvin to be ready to go Sunday

RE: Louis Delmas
Good news Whinny,

ALLEN PARK - After missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday, Detroit Lions starters Calvin Johnson and Louis Delmas returned to the practice field on Friday morning in preparation for team's home-opener against the Kansas Chiefs Sunday at 1 p.m.

The only Lions not out on the field Friday morning were rookie defensive tackle Nick Fairley and offensive tackle Jason Fox. Both players are still recovering from training camp injuries. Coach Jim Schwartz said earlier in the week that both Fox and Fairley were progressing positively in their rehabs, but no projected return dates were specified.

Good to hear Fairley is back out there.
