Hey, Boise's not in the middle of nowhere! (I might end up interning at Boise State 04-rock)

That sounds like fun but seriously Boise is a hub of nowhere. There is not a lot even within a fair driving distance. If you are used to the east coast you may be surprised how empty that part of the country can be. You may also be frustrated by the lack of adjoining roads (for instance to get to Reno or California you have to drive east).

When you get there be sure to ask for fry sauce for your burger and fries. It is the local tradition.

Went fishing with a friend out there and stayed at house out in the desert. The owner was upset because someone had built a house about 5 miles away and if he stood on his roof he could see a light from that house. No other lights visible at night. An 80 year old couple flew an ultralite into breakfast every Sunday morning just to be around people at the local (5 miles the other direction from where we were staying) bar/recreationhall/store/sporting goods store/art supply shop. Yeah, Idaho has some pretty remote areas.

Akron finished with at least one if not two wins in the MAC this season.

Well remember he will be in the hub of nowhere. Boise may not be near anything but at least it is a little something in the middle of nowhere.

LOL it would just be for the summer. I'm hoping for a Pac-12 school or something like San Diego State. Boise would be easy because the person that runs Bronco Stadium is a Temple grad.

Summer would be nice. You can get some good outdoors activities done in that area.
