I understand that. It is also important when one team won 12 straight games 50-60 years ago to show that in the last 45 years the series is much different. Heck, a long time ago Ohio State lost to Akron and Oberlin College. That was a LONG time ago though.

It's not like my selectiveness is taking games from 1967-1980 and then 1990-2011 and leaving out 1981-1989. And I was trying to not count them all, just showing a point of what was happening more recent.......the last 45 years or so.

I was taking a jab at CMU, more than anything. Often when we talk about series records, some of them like to forget anything that happened more than 35 years ago.
