In this insider article by Brian Edwards, the author does some number crunching and finds that if the Big East was forced to qualify it would fail in 2 of the 3 criteria to be a BCS league. The Mountain West actually comes out in front of them.

That article is total BS. Here is a fact if you want to look at the new make up of MWC, Big East and ACC

In that time period 2008-10
Big East has: TCU 3,4,11 - WV 22-16 - Pitt 17-20- Cin 3-20 Thats THREE top five and NINE top 25

MWC: Boise 10,6,9- Nevada 15, Hawaii 24 Thats NO top five, FIVE total top 25

ACC: GTech 8,14- VTech 13,11,19- FSU 23- UM 15- BC 24 Thats NO Top five, EIGHT top 25

So if ESPN so called "experts" are going to talk crap, the least they can do its get it straight.
