If you want to move up, you have to move up in talent. In digging through all my paperwork on recruiting, I found that Lawton was the #28 SG at one point by one rating service, Javes was the #55 C, Dillard was #121 SG, and White was #123 SF. There are 345 Division 1 teams in the country, so you could say that all of them were ranked to be of a quality for the top third of the teams in the country.

If Lawton was truly anywhere near the #28 SG in the country, he'll potentially be one of the best players we've ever had at that position.

It's really probably higher than that- It's not unusual for the top BCS schools to sign a couple of Top 100 guards or forwards.
