Even HuffPo is talking change in higher ed
Would be very good for some of these professors to be required to produce something of value.

I agree. It would be nice if your produced something of value.

Btw, there really aren't too many people out there that don't realize changes need to be made. Just not the radical ones you nutjobs want.

Would you consider folding all "special interest studies" programs into the history department "radical".

I can't imagine how many pencil pushers could be cut if these programs were gone and kids who wanted to do "$Me Studies" had to get a well rounded historical education for three years and spent their last three quarters specializing in their interest (like every other major does it).
