Nah, not a Neckster, but a ULM fan. He's made his mark over at Ragin Pagin in remarkable fashion once he took (admitted) ownership of this site. It became apparent early on that he didn't represent the typical ULM fan.

His site came across as some weird manifesto..

It's disappointing that the people at the the University of Louisiana have to tolerate these overzealous ULM assclowns. They believe that they can build themselves up by damaging the other school that is more established school with the University of Louisiana identity.

Quite simply, ULM will never be known as the University of Louisiana, they should cease trying to be known as the University of Louisiana, and they should stop trying to disparage the school commonly known as the University of Louisiana.

This is a lot like if LSU-Shreveport were bitching about LSU not calling itself by it's real name LSU-A&M-Baton Rouge. The complaint wouldn't in any way enhance the image of LSU-Shreveport and would in fact make them look insecure an petty.

The University of Louisiana branch at Monroe would be far better served by forging their identity as MONROE. Sure, like Louisiana Tech, they would still be a part of the University of Louisiana system, but they would have an individual and very marketable brand identity.

Is this not the funniest sh*t you have ever seen? LOL!! And to think this site may actually let themselves be held hostage by a nut job with an anti-UL website is even more funny!!

if the state of Louisiana was smart they would

fold the Southern University System, turn Shreveport into a community college, fold the other two into UNO and LSU and move on from that

fold the UL System and just have a single university system

then they WOULD let The University of Louisiana call themselves that and allow them to distinguish themselves as best they can

Allow LaTech to continue to develop the "tech" focus and their natural resources programs ect

tell ULM they can be ULM, LSU Monroe, or something else, but the second largest university in the state (The University of Louisiana) has a right to try and distinguish themselves

Grambling remains the one school in the state with a yesteryear mandate

the other LSU's (and the old Southern Shreveport) become community college and two year/transfer schools for LSU Baton Rouge, LaTech, The University of Louisiana, and LSU Shreveport
