Never a fan of her, never followed her, not shocked at all. Only reason I know is someone posted it on Facebook. Thought some people might be interested.

Really enjoyed her "Back to Black" CD. She brought a soul vibe that's sorely missing from mainstream music today. But when drugs take precendence in your life*, you play with fire. She joins a legion of other impactful singers who all died at 27.

(* - They haven't determined cause of death yet, so I'm only guessing at this point)

I didn't listen to her music, but I have heard her songs. She's the one Brit that could fit in with the old-time R&B scene in New Orleans. She was talented.
