I actually agree with SF Husky on this one. Remember, we're all the homers and he knows it all.

If he wants to run the offense he ran at Cuse then UConn is going to struggle big time because those are not the type of players UConn currently has. When you look at his age, you cant see this as a long term coaching solution at UConn.

LOL. This coming from a guy whose coach was a former UCONN coach. Fact is you don't know jack about coach P. He might be at UCONN for the next 10 years for all I know. Fact remains he has the best resume of ANY current coaches by a mile and then some.

Did he forget how to coach? We will find out soon. I highly doubt he will run the exact same offense at SU unless we got another McNabb clone on the bench. All indications so far he is doing a great job. Our recruiting certainly has hit another level with coach P at the helm. He just got another FLA kid into the program today and I think that's 7 this year so far.

Actually son, I know a hell of alot about Coach P. I am not a 20 year old that just started following college football. and what the hell does Skip being a coach at UConn means?
As for getting anothe Florida kid, do you know how many florida kids go to division 1 programs every year? It would be a darn shame for a UConn coach in the Big East not to get any Florida kids.
But hell you know it all, Coach P is going to win the National championship at UConn

However, if Holgorsen's offense lives up to its reputation, WVU could very well sweep through their schedule unbeaten - if they get past LSU...

Before u put ur foot in ur mouth bout west virginia's chances of goiing undefeated, ask urself this when was the last time a be team went undefeated?

I could care less when the last BEast team went unbeaten. It's irrelevant in the context of this conversation...

Besides, ask yourself how many times throughout history have people said "it can't be done", only to see it get done right after they say that...

oh yeah i remember that but they lost to florida in the sugar bowl. technically not an undefeated season. maybe it was 'cause kelly jumped ship before their final game. i'm assuming UC fans never want that name mentioned ever again within city limits.

For the record, I was the only one who said UCONN would win the BE last year and half of the homers here said UCONN would finish 6th to 8th LOL.

As a fan too, I will say our defense is much better than last year. Yeah we got question marks at QB but it is not like we depend on the QB to win games last year either.

We will find out soon enough if UCONN will finish 8th. I will say this though, UCONN will finish ahead of UL this year in the standings and I am pretty confident about that.

Still feeling good about your defense? 94th in the country in scoring defense better than last season?

Florida would have beaten us anyway that year but with BK at the helm it would have been a lot better game...for whatever that was worth. He promised the kids he wasn't leaving then left...the team was devastated.

I will give BK props for what he did in his time here......and I'm also glad he's sucking arse at ND!

I discuss the possibility of WVU going unbeaten every season, and have every year since I joined the board. However, Holgorsen's offense hasn't quite lived up to its reputation at WVU. The lack of a consistent running game, and Geno's inability under duress against Syracuse are signs of this. It happens...

Oh yes it has. The defense is the problem. WV has a top 10 offense and Gino Smith has like a top 10 QB stats. The defense needs to be shored up along with the running game.

... Preseason picks always are worthless. That said, it's always fun to imagine. A lot more nerve wrecking to watch it unfold.

The defense was only a problem in the last game. Prior to that it was doing pretty well. The running game has been a constant irritant...
