Started out congratulating WVU and this popped up from Waco

I guess since the game is in Greenville, Holland won't cancel it. That started the flaming

Waco has a habit of slamming ECU and this is a message board and that is his right.

yeah, i see your point. that didn't register for me the first time through. but....it is the bigeast mainboard.

good luck to the pirates and to terry holland. you gave the mountaineers a heckuva run today.

I am not talking about the overall vision of the UC football program. I am talking about the UC vs ECU series. If I am sitting on a bar stool with a UC fan they are going to want to talk about the last three years and the arse whooping they have handed ECU. I certainly dont want to talk about that. I am going to bring up the fact that we are 12-5 all time. That is only natural, as a fan we all want to point out the positives of the schools we love and root for.

As I said I actually pull for UC and when I used to visit Cincinnati to see my brother I went to games. It used to piss me off that a lot of his friends at UC did not even go to FB games and pulled for Ohio St. We have that same crap at ECU with students on campus who grew up pulling for UNC,NCST,Wake and Duke.

I hope UC builds a good FB program and I would like nothing more then to see them compete year in and year out with Ohio St in football. The BigEast and the staff you have hired should help this goal. The UC campus is beautiful and everytime I visit Cincinnati I stay at the KingsGate Marriott and run thru the UC campus. The growth in the last 5yrs has been amazing to watch.
Attention ECU ButtPirate fans- I still remember the game in 2003 when ECU was supposedly battling UC for a Big East spot and the Butt Pirates came to UC for a nationally televised opener on ESPN at historic Nippert Stadium(little did we know ECU never stood a chance for entry in the Big East). UC crushed ECU 40-3. Late in the game i was taunting the ECU bench and there was some little kid ECU fan with his dad who started to tell me that I shouldn't behave in such a way. I told the kid that he and his daddy were losers who root for a pathetic team. The little kid started to cry and his old man came charging at me. The police escorted the loser ECU "dad" out of the stadium while I laughed at him as he was led away. Boy that was a great day! :)

I am sure you headed straight over to The Dock to celebrate your victory and re-tell your harrowing story of bravery with the little ECU kid in between pigs n blanket and cold beers.
