I really can't separate USF, UofL and WVU after this week. Rutgers moved up in my view and really had a chance for a special season if they did not blow it in week 1.

UL and WVU are about even. I think UCONN is much better than people think. It will be an interesting conference race.

BE is very young this year with two new coaches, so we do have a lot to look forward to down the road.

I think UConn is pretty good but no way they are #2 at this point. They've proven nothing. The wins are over teams that are 0-4, 0-4, and a I-AA 1-4. The loss was fairly close to a bowl bound Georgia Tech, but honestly they were without the star of their team. I say there are several BE clubs that beat Tech with Ball out, not even getting into a debate about playing Tech with him in there.

Though its sort of a cop out to put 3 teams in first, I'll agree with Maize's picks.

Cowboy get over yourself. Your league is complete crap top to bottom. There is nothing great about it, crappy markets, crappy schools, etc. You suck so get over it already. The Big East is down but far from out. Rutgers, UConn, and USF are all arriving, UL, WVU, SU, and UC are all on the rise and UL and WVU are both excellent already. Pitt is our question mark now.

When's the last time any of your historical powerhouses has won a national championship? Uconn and USF weren't even Div 1 8 years ago. They got in because you guys have a lot of t.v. sets in the northeast. That's it. It's that simple. You will always be losers getting handouts from the BCS because your markets are essential to the BCS for high ratings.

Realize this. Everyone understands that your conference, made up of a bunch of crappy football teams and a couple of average ones, is only in the BCS due to the number of t.v. sets in your homes. Everyone also realizes that you will suck at football every year (this is just the second sucky year of many more to come). You delusional fans of the Big East may be the only people in America that don't understand that your sole purpose is to prop up t.v. ratings, not provide any real competition.
