No. 05-nono

Paganism normally refers to polytheistic religions. 05-stirthepot

RE: Counting down to Big East expansion deadline
OK, how's this for an "expansion deadline" topic. We're now within a week of Conference USA's deadline for schools to notify them that they will be leaving the conference for the 2012-2013 season without paying a "significant*" financial penalty.

USFFan

*"Significant" is obviously a relative term, and I don't know (and can't easily find) the exact figure.

You're kidding , right? Taking a sidetrack onto pagan religions would be far more interesting than recent discussions on this board.

Do you really think that there's anything more to talk about regarding Big East non-expansion before June 30??? Haven't we beaten this poor dead horse into the ground & then turned it over & beaten it again? 05-deadhorse

I'm NOT kidding Bill. I've jumped Wilkie's sh!t enough over bringing expansion into non-expansion threads. If Wilkie wants to talk expansion, and starts an expansion thread, I owe it to him to insure his discussion doesn't get hijacked.

For more on hijacking, please consult the AUP.

(edit) I just realized, Wilkie is the one who brought religion up 03-lmfao Carry on then...

I've got BJ's back on this too, Bill, even though I tend to agree with you... 07-coffee3

However if you want to discuss Pagan religions, you can create an off-topic thread to carry your efforts forward...

Actually, I was responding to an exchange that had already occurred between a couple of other people, not expressing an interest of my own. My comment was to correct a mistaken impression that "everyone's religion is pagan to someone else." It's not. paganism has a specific meaning.

I admittedly was stirring the pot on what has otherwise been a slow news period for our favorite subject.

I'll defer to wiser minds than mine & will otherwise leave this subject alone. 04-bow

I was actually being facetious and trying to stir the pot (hard to believe, huh?) with my comment too, Bill.

Mods, sorry about that!

Always enjoy your comments & your perspective, Terry. Imagine that a couple of Irish Catholic guys might be trying to stir the pot with religion. Shocking, I know. 03-lmfao
