I'm assuming the analysts are trying Miller to this job because it's closer to his part of the country (spent most of his life in Pennsylvania).

FWIW, I agree that Arizona is a better job than Maryland. I don't see him going.

The only thing Maryland has over Zona is more local recruits but they also have much more local competition for those recruits.

Zona is a much better job imo.

and an NC this decade.

Gary Parrish just said that among coaches Maryland is considered a Top 5 job.

Arizona is losing Derrick Williams but has a top 5 class coming in next year as well.

He also is stating that this is a huge development and will trigger many dominoes among college coaches.

Top 5 ? Really ? I'd go for Top 10, but Top 5 seems a little much ...

Did I say that, or are you implying a ridiculous assumption?

Like 80's said, top 10 maybe.............and that's a big maybe.

North Carolina
KY
UCLA
Duke
Kansas

Maryland is not a top 5 job.

Maybe, maybe not. It will only be a domino thing if they manage to get a head coach from another major program. Once that happens all hell breaks loose.

its Cinco de Mayo not National Comedy Day.

Maryland, welcome to falling off the map in College Basketball.

A)Sean Miller aint goin nowhere, crazy to think otherwise
B)With the talent Josh is looking at within the next few years to add to the already extremely talented squad he has now, and a new contract, he's not going anywhere

on to the next BS thread

They do seem to think it's real that Sean Miller could leave for Maryland on the Arizona Board.

Gary usually copies a lot of my opinions...he's wrong on this. His lisp must have pronounced top 5 but he meant top 50

Your not worried about Miller going to Maryland or not about what would happen if Miller left for Maryland.

Nope. I think both Miller and Pastner are at their current positions a good long while.

Maybe he meant top 5 positions in the ACC. That makes more sense.
