So you're happy, good for you. I'm glad we finally won the tournament, not happy that we were below .500 in the regular season and had to be part of a play-in game that we lost, and not happy that they gave Shields an extension to five years. Foley earned his extension, so I suppose Peterson extended Shields so people wouldn't think he was playing favorites.

Steve already had a contract through 2013. I believe they are adding 5 years to that.

When was this announced? I must have missed the thread and I don't see it on the official site. I was happy we made the tournament but a 5 year extension. I hope we put a reasonable buyout in this extension just in case we don't meet expectations in the next couple of years.
