RE: MAC NFL Draft Picks
Sad that the MAC had less draft picks than the Southern, Sun Belt, Big Sky and as many as the Mid-Eastern Athletic....
Atlantic Coast 35; Big East 22; Big Sky 4; Big Ten 29; Big-12 30; Colonial Athletic Association 2; Conference USA 7; Independents 1; Ivy League 1; Lonestar 2; Mid-American 3; Mid-Eastern Athletic 3; Mid-South 1; Missouri Valley 2; Mountain West 10; Ohio Athletic 1; Pac-10 31; Patriot League 1; PSAC 2; Southeastern 38; Southern 5; SWAC 1; Southland 2; Sun Belt 5; Western Athletic 16.

Yeah, it is. But if you look at NFL rosters, there are many MAC players on them.
Just look at how many former MAC players were on the last two Super Bowl teams!
So, MAC players make the NFL quite frequently. It's just that many have to go the Free Agent route.

You'd think with that kind of talent, Temple could have at least won the worst division in the FBS.
I wonder the same thing some nights uakronkid...
Blame Golden's lack of aggressive blitzing on Defense, amongst other things.
When you figure out why Temple hasn't won with NFL talent, then go to work on KSU who has more Pro Bowl players and NFL starters than any team in the MAC.
The reason Kent State doesn't win in football is because their NFL talent and Pro Bowl players are all on the basketball team.
Was Joshua Cribbs at Point Guard and James Harrison at Power Forward?

I would pay to see it.
Wait a minute. I already pay to see it without them.

RE: MAC NFL Draft Picks
It just goes to show how bad the MAC really is. It is a shame that we are not recruiting better talent. If my evaluation of the BB talent that was signed this year, BB in general, is not about to improve either. The MAC in most sports, recruits players that no one else is offering. How do we reverse this?

Lighten up a bit man, the talent is among our underclassmen. When you think about it, there were very few MAC Sr.'s who might have been shafted (Bellore [CMU], Shannon [UB], Joseph [TU]). There was a dip in quality in this year's senoirs but think about all those starters returning to Miami and Toledo, and all the young players who are already grading well for future drafts: Adrian Robinson, Evan Rodriguez, and Pierce (TU), Dann O'Neill and Carder (WMU), Dysert (MU), Thomas and Page (UT), Scott Wedige, Trevor Olson, and Harnish (NIU), Sean Baker (BSU).

I do hope that your are correct. It all sounds good, but we must wait and see. It may be that the big boys will not respect us enough after a year like the last one.
