The problem with "God's Gift" is you don't know if the gift is going to be for St. John's - or all their opponents...

My name (Matthew) translates from Hebrew to mean the same thing. In Greek, Theodore also means "God's Gift."

My name means I was named after both my grandfathers, as well as my uncle. Any historical meaning is irrelevant in the face of that...

RE: Good sign for St. Johns?
True... the problem's just that the name is English.

It's kinda like the city named "Boca Raton." You think it's just a foreign word, but Spanish people know it translates to "Rat's Mouth."
