Jacksonville State has only passed a resolution allowing for the exploration of a move to the Football Bowl Subdivision. Appalachian and Georgia Southern have passed such resolutions more than once and have been exploring a move to the FBS for the past 10 years, and there's nothing to substantiate that either one of those schools will move up a division anytime soon.

Yes I know. It's incredible to me that these schools are even passing resolutions. JSU's athletic budget is $10 million. I would think that even the Sun Belt, MAC and WAC wouldnt be looking at anyone who cannot put at least $20 million a year on the table.
