I don't hate UH but I get tired of all the sunshine pumping about UH. UH fans on here think they deserve a BCS conference because they happen to be in the 10th largest TV market. Market means nothing if you don't have fans and historically UH fans have not supported their University. UH has also ignored their football facilities and yet they think they are better than ECU and UCF who have been proactive instead of reactive.

As for Texas Tech not being in Houston that is a good thing. They almost double your 2010 attendance depsite having 250K residents. College Station isn't in Houston and A&M draws almost 3 times your 2010 average. The Texas 4 BCS schools outdraw UH, have better stadiums, have more Alumni that donate money and fans that show up to football games despite not being in the 4th largest city in the country. Can UH draw 1% of the Houston population to come to their games?

It's because he is JeffRaider who was previously banned on this board for being an a**. He's just being less of an a** right now under a different name so he hasn't been banned again... yet. He'll go over the top scorched earth again soon like he always does.

Dude your obsessed. I have already told you and others, I am not Jeff.

Get over it.

jml2010 - not sure what your agenda is other than to post hate. I have plenty of friends who are UT, A&M, and Texas Tech grads and none of them act in the manner that you do. It's unfortunate that you continue your smear and propaganda campaign against the University of Houston. It only makes your postings less credible. Go Coogs!

Get over it.

And yet you sound EXACTLY like him. Using the exact same comments. Same language. Same arguments. Same methodology.

You can say anything you want, but your actions speak much louder than words. You don't like UH "sunshine pumpers" but you don't mind sunshine pumpers from any other school. EXACTLY what Jeff has done over and over again. I look forward to the day you get banned AGAIN.

Sammy appears to be a good mod, but be glad he's a Big XII guy who hasn't experienced your garbage previously on this board, on UH's board, and on aTm's board. You spew it on RaiderPower too, but that's about the only place your trolling should be acceptable. Not here.

He's a former UH student that transferred out to TT after he apparently got screwed over by UH administration. The whole story hasn't been made public and it may have been a real issue, but he has an almost 20 year old obsession now with negativity towards UH because of that incident.

You have problems. I'm not Jeff and your obsession with him is amazing.

Now instead of bashing me, what has UH done to separate themselves from ECU & UCF?

Nothing hateful about what I wrote. I congratulated UH on building facilities that have nothing to do with football but you Coogs get butthurt when your your main flaw is pointed out.

Instead of talking about stadium construction, do it and no one will point out your stadium issues. Sell out your stadium on a yearly basis and no one will talk about your attendance issues.

UNT is a freaking joke. Enjoy your worthless degree. I'm not being hateful, I'm just congratulating you on your degree.

What is the point of posting pictures of Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech. What's the point in even discussing them? Last I heard they were not players in any conference re-alignment. Are any of these programs interested in joining the BE?

Houston isn't as good and the two big programs in Texas. Got it, but 90% of college programs aren't as good as them. As far as Baylor, Texas Tech are concerned, come back when they manage to do what TCU without the benefit of access to an AQ conference. When Baylor and Texas Tech finish #2 and win the Rose Bowl then posting pictures of their stadium may be of interest to me..

There are two factors I use when I evaluate people: How well they perform and what resources they had to do this. Baylor is an abject failure in my mind. They have done nothing significant since joining the B-12. Texas Tech has been a good program, consistently winning and being respectable in their conference. Both programs had access to AQ resources, Tech did much better with the raw material.

TCU finished in the top 10 three times in the last 10 years. Has Texas Tech ever finished in the top 10? TCU has been to two BCS bowls, has Texas Tech.... I don't know, I know that Baylor hasn't.

Bottom-line TCU has not only done more with less, but they have done exceeding better than either Baylor or Texas Tech.

On Houston. I think you would have to say that they were a failure after the break-up of the SWC. They didn't actually start getting back on track until 5 or 6 years ago. But their failure is nowhere near and stark as Baylor’s, because Baylor doesn't have the excuse that they did not have AQ revenue or access to better markets. Texas Tech has done well, but not nearly as well as the could have, based of the resources they had access to.

The only fair comparison when you look at Baylor/Texas Tech compared to Houston is how the programs did when the playing field was level? In other words, what happened when you were all together in the SWC. Maybe you can tell me I don't have the will or desire to do this, because frankly it does not matter. The only Texas school right now that is of any real interest to me right now is TCU, since they are now a conference brother. I am interested in Houston because they "could" be, but to be honest I clearly don't care about them as much as you do, otherwise why spend all this time ranting over the fact that their fans actually like the program they are rooting for and brag about it. I wouldn’t expect anything less for a fan… I don’t see the problem.

Great post. The sheer advantage of riding the B12 coattails are lost to some.

There is a great saying..

That is Jeff/JML in a nutshell.

Despite my disgust for JML/JeffRaider, I'll give Texas Tech props. On the football field in the history of the SWC, they were the weakest of Baylor/UH/Tech being average at best. They now have a 36-32-1 record vs Baylor, but that's because Baylor has not beaten TT since the Big XII formed. In the SWC, Baylor had the advantage. UH leads the series over TT 18-11-1. They finished ranked in the top 10 once, in 1965 with an 8-3 record, and no they haven't been to a BCS game. But when Tech was invited to the Big XII, they considered it a brand new start and a became very solid program. Mike Leach was a big part of that so we'll see how it goes without him, but the school and its fans have done what needs to be done.

Baylor on the other hand appears to have coasted in the Big XII. I think they're starting to make a new commitment, but are they hopelessly behind at this point? They were actually fairly solid in the SWC although they haven't finished in the top 10 since their one time in 1951.

There is no doubt that UH struggled after the breakup of the SWC. Unlike TCU who took the breakup as a wake up call, UH went further into a funk and appeared to have lost some interest. Add some bad leadership and UH went through some tough times. While Baylor and Tech always had around average teams, UH has historically had highs and lows. We've had awesome seasons and horrible seasons. I think we're still on the upswing as far as building a program and new fanbase, doing a lot of the things TCU did just several years behind.

BTW: The poster's point in showing other stadiums was to portray UH in a negative light. He has a personal bias and mission against UH. He's a troll of the worst kind, not because he has negative things to say about UH, but because he has an agenda and attempts to hide his bias and agenda. I haven't posted any negative personal responses to any other poster who points out negatives about UH or why their school is better. Often they have valid points and it is a matter of preference. But this poster has zero interest in open/honest discussion.
