RE: Alexander confirms he's a candidate
So let me ask you guys a question that the article touches on in relation to Alexander. Obviously not with our current product on the court, or what we've put out there the past couple years, but is KSU a championship-caliber program? Like the article says, sure we were at D-II but this is the big time now. Is our program committed to being championship-caliber with multiple tourney appearances like the success we see the Belmont's of the world having now?

Perhaps its appropriate to look at it under this perspective. Im not sure about the other candidates but if Alexander is hired we will most likely own bartow and etsu.

According to HoopDirt.com, Casey Alexander is being hired by Stetson.

Sounds like we might have a new coach:

Wow and Scott,

I would like to welcome you to the board, it is nice to have new members.

I don't know how reputable that site is, but I do not that Casey is going to Stetson. If the second article posted by Wow is correct, I would welcome Mr. Preston. Looks like he has a great reputation for working with big's. In the Asun a good big can take your team a long way. He also has big time recruiting ties and experience. AS for now though I will wait till this is made official till I start celebrating.

I cannot corroborate the story about Mr. Preston potentially being our coach just by a quick search on google. Doesn't mean it isn't true though. If anyone finds anything to confirm the source, please post, I'm sure we're all eager to hear one way or the other who the next coach will be.

RE: Alexander confirms he's a candidate
Looks like I read that blog yesterday about 30 minutes too early. I had been reading it daily to check for KSU updates and saw the Casey Alexander rumor. I don't know who the author is, but it seems like he has some good contacts.
