Heard an interesting piece of info watching the game yesterday...Butler is the only school from Indiana to reach the final four in consecutive years.

And you wonder why you don't find Butler on the Indiana, Purdue, or Notre Dame schedule every year? Not yesterday, not today, not ever.

Do Butler, BSU, IUPUI, IPFW, Ind St., Evansville, and Valpo play each other regularly? I know you couldn't all play each other every year, but 2-4 per year would probably be good.

If NIU and Air Force had actually won 4 games against bigtime poweres to get to the semifinals, interest and respect in their programs would have been created. We don't view VCU the same way now that we viewed them before the tournament started. They beat some great teams to get there are earned our respect. Air Force and NIU would have done the same. TV ratings released today show that the ratings were some of the best ever for a Final Four, but more people watched the second game ( Is that because of name recognion or because of a better timeslot?).
