UAA and CC met at the Brice Alaska Goal Rush on Oct. 15, with the Tigers winning, 4-3 ... in the WCHA regular season, the teams split at Colorado Springs with UAA winning 4-3 in overtime on Nov. 26, before the Tigers won, 2-0, on Nov. 27 ... on Jan. 14-15, the Seawolves swept the Tigers for the third time in school history, 4-1, 2-1 at home ... the teams have met four times in the WCHA First Round, but only once at the WCHA Final Five, with UAA winning, 4-1 in the play-in game on March 18, 2004.

Colorado College vs. Alaska-Anchorage - I’ve been giving Anchorage a lot of love this season so I’m going to do it again this weekend. That, and last time they were here they beat CC (the only team here to go to three games last weekend, too). UAA advances.

Game is on tv - Fox Sports. CC scores on the PP to take a 1 - 0 lead midway thru the first. Now 2 - 0 with 3:30 to play inthe first. CC has scored on 2 of their 3 shots.
AA has had 5 scoring chances to CC's 2 but have been robbed in close on numerous occasions.

Damn...probably not worth it to listen. Hope CC chokes the game away

AA outshooting CC by a wide margin but CC scores on their 7th shot as a long shot bounces in off a defender's skate to make it 3 - 0 with 14 to go in the 2nd. Believe it or not, except for the scoring, AA has dominated the play. Game is in Fox sports Central.
Now AA beats the CC goalie, Howe cleanly and the puck bounces off the post and harmlessly back into the parephenalia.

Any update?

4-1 with 6:30 left in the 3rd. AA couldn't score on a 5-3 and two other 5-4 penalties. Howe is standing on his head and CC players giving it up for a ton of blocks. CC is going to win.

AA Goes on another 4 minute PP for the last 4 minutes of the gama and it doesn't look like they are even going to get a shot on goal. 1 minute to go and they finally score to make it 4-2.

Pull the goalie but 2 penaltis puts CC on the PP and this game is going to go to CC. 4-2 final.
