Dishonest argument this season that Tide had nothing to gain playing Blazers

CM Newton is such a bull sh!t artist.

Newton said he told Gene Bartow upon his arrival at UAB that no one helped him build Alabama's program, so don't expect help building UAB.

"I told him when or if you get your program going, we'll play. But don't ask me until then," Newton said. "Well, I left. And there was just not good feelings and for whatever reason they never played."

He also was quoted in the paper in 1977 as saying UAB didn't need a basketball team because they had one in Tuscaloosa to cheer for. The whatever reason, we never played was because Newton was scared to play them after they defeated Kentucky and Virginia.

Those jacklegs played UAH this year. Guess ole CM forgot to tell Mal Moore not to schedule them until they established themselves.

Yesterday, justice was served.
