The Way The MAC Was (MAC hoops)
The Sagrins have archives back to '98/'99 season.

Here is the '99/2000 season. Incredible

Look at how good the MAC was. Unbelievably good.

Now MAC hoops is downright mediocre, and I could have said worse words.

99-00 is hands down my favorite year of basketball at EMU that I personally experienced.
It was my freshman year and I thought it was so cool that you could actually sit down and eat in the eateries with Calvin Warner, Antonio Gates, Adam Hess, Dante Darling, Desean Hadley, CJ Grantham, Larry Fisher, Craig Erquhart etc etc etc... The guys were really down to earth and they had their ups and downs on the court, but apart from the MSU game, they kept the ones they lost close.

Good times...

looking at the Sagarins for that year, I think there were 8 teams RANKED HIGHER then the top ranked team from this season's MAC.

Absolutely incredible.
