What no.........
Chip fans around to congratulate the Broncos.
This loss must have affected them much more than one would think. The part I love the most is that the five minute introduction on the video screen that announced "Back to Back West Divison Champions" should be changed to "David Kool and the Broncos knock out our West Division Champions, and then embarrass us on our new court".
I wonder why the builder forgot to place the "curse" in the gym?
Always proud to be a Bronco.

Acer1, your not mocking a certain mental condition I may have, which is centered around a curse phobia I might have mentioned in earlier threads......if so, for shame, for shame. That is no way to treat anyone with diminished capacity. Maybe next year I'll take that bus trip to hooterville and see what happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: What no.........
Johnny it is not directed to any one person. I have too many associates that refer to it also, and I correct them constantly, that curses don't exist in my world and I don't know why anyone would waste the time worrying about them. It is better to put your shoulder down and find a way or work harder to get the win.
I was just wondering where the other teams fans have gone now that they don't have some sort of bragging they can do.
Always proud to be a Bronco.

Another perfect performance.....
I finally looked at the final stats of the CMU game and discovered that the Broncos had another player with a perfect stat line. Nate Hutchenson was perfect from the field, 3 of 3 from the field, and 2 of 2 from 3 point range. That was followed by 4 of 4 from the charity stripe.
Two games, and two players with perfect stats. I'm so excited for the tournament, and hope to see all of you at the Quicken Loans arena this week. Go Broncos.
Always proud to be a Bronco.

RE: What no.........
Acer, sorry about the lack of congrats from the Chips. I was in Utah on a ski trip and was not aware of the result. In fact, I was somewhat surprised to hear that the Chippewas still have men's BB. I had thought that the season ended just after Christmas for them.
Anyhow, congrats to the Broncos for demolishing a demolished team. Maybe this will be the end for EZ...but I doubt it.

Actually I did offer my congrats on another thread. I don't remember any Bronco fans coming to the CMU board in 2010 or 2009 and offering their congratulations. I guess CMU must be held to a higher level of sportsmanship.

"higher level", "sportsmanship" and "CMU" in the same sentence? Wow that must be a first.

RE: What no.........
Bluechip, in past years I often participated in discussions on your board, but I lost the site when my computer crashed a couple of years ago, and I haven't been back. I never failed to offer my congratultions after a Bronco loss.
I thank you and chipfan for stopping by here. It should be normal for grown adults to have a civil discussion about sport before, during and after the game. I love passionate fans from my opponents as much as I love the passionate Bronco fans. I do however encounter that fan that is so arrogant that they feel they should never set foot in the other teams stadium and / or arena. They never extend the hand after a defeat......I saw many Chips football players do that...........nor would they go out of their way to offer the good sportmanship good wishes.
A loss does not denote inferiority, and a win does not mean superiority. It is a game.
Thanks again for stopping by, and feel free to engage me in some good discussions in the future.
Always proud to be a Bronco.

Yes, exactly. Did YOU offer congrats on CMU's site the last two years when CMU won the MAC West in Bball? If not, yet Bronco fans expect us to do the same, that is being held to a higher level.

"Exactly"...I am not going to take the time to go thru the archives (perhaps you will) but I do believe I likely did offer an appropriate response in the past. However, my post was more aimed at the words you chose in your post. I found them interesting. I come here in the spirit of a bitter rivalry. I find it interesting how much venom our fans have for eachother. This is what makes sports interesting.
Further...you literally credited me with words that I did not utter. "I guess CMU must be held to a higher level of sportsmanship." I believe those are your words...I dissected them and was trying to make a point about the oddity of the combination of words in the same sentence.
Sorry, you missed my point.
