Yeah seriously, UCF basketball tickets only average $10? That's our nosebleed (hot as hell up there) Herd Heaven price.

Gotta make the price low to get people to come. Otherwise, they stay home to watch UF, FSU, or Miami at 18-13. 05-stirthepot

You're clueless.

Really? Please do explain.

UCF had a little over 115,000 attend basketball games this season at an average of about 10 bucks a pop.

That is $1.15 million in ticket sales

UCF had about 273,000 attend football games at about 25 bucks a pop.

That is $6.825 million in ticket sales.

Football merchandise revenue is 10x what basketball is.

Football TV revenue is not even comparable to basketball.

Donations to basketball are not even in the same league as football.

$10 a pop? that is a bargain, hell that's even cheaper than a student guest ticket. Our cheap seats are $14.

You kids actually sound like some UCF fans who mouthed off to UF fans after we beat them

Truth is, at the end of the day, it's usually better to be a Florida Gator than a Knight (right now)...

And its ALWAYS better to be a UCF Knight than a Blundering Terd.

See you in in baseball and then again in football then some rematches on the hardcourt

I know you are young, seems like most UCF fans are 25 and under, but basketball has been around for a long time (just not UCF basketball).

Good pt...as I think it was Donnie Jones that got Marshall into a post-season basketball tourn for the first time in 23 years last season.

Amazing the past failure rate of Marshall hoops till Donnie came back to town.

FYI, the more you guys hate AJ Rompza, the more UCF fans sit back and relish in it. So please, continue........ 04-cheers

Don't worry, we will. Kid who taunts people like that reguarly every game has no place in basketball. Talking trash is one thing, but provoking two players from Marshall alone this year to use physical contact is ridiculous. I wouldn't expect for Weasel to put his foot down on him though

Back to the topic at hand, to what randaddy said, Marshall student guest tickets also are more expensive then $10

So your guys are so undisciplined that they allow someone you call an oopma loompa to provoke them so far as to get T'd up and get another one tossed? Wow, I had no idea Rompza had such power over your mighty team! HE'S A GOD!! 03-lmfao

RE: Romps is a punk
Well I don't know how they do it in Florida, nor do I care for that matter, but if some runny nosed punk comes up and elbows me (game 1) or gets in my face running his mouth, and lord knows what else (game 2), I'm shoving him away. Then he acts like a little twat about it throwing his arms up in the air as if he didn't do anything. Kinda sad really.

Kind of player you love if he's on your side and hate if he's on the other. Really good instigator that would love the thought of this thread.

He is an instigator. I'm not sure about "really good" though. Really good instigators don't care how an opposing crowd takes him, but he was done the moment he got his technical and the crowd started booing him. Damier Pitts dominated him for the period he was in the game.

Knightlight, I'm actually talking about real program history like the fact that Marshall coach Cam Henderson invented the fast break and full court press while coaching here. Things like Marshall has been a top 10 team and has a member on the NBA 50 greatest team as well as a #1 overall draft pick. Marshall actually had a great basketball tradition that went away when football took off in the late 80s and started it's 20 year run.

Here is a picture I snapped of Rompza with his crying towel at the end of the game.

I understand that oompa loompa tears are salty and coarse.
