Frankly, if the conference winner ends up with double digit losses, they could find themselves in one of the four play-in games. MAC hoops in general has truly fallen on hard times, the embarrassment that is EZ notwithstanding. I'll be happy to stick a fork in this season and call it done after Tuesday.

Sorry to say, row, I'm not making it up. I put it up immediately on Drew Ellis live game blog. I was shocked. There's no room for any of that type of talk by an announcer. He should be brought into Mr. Heeke's office. Sat down. Played a tape of the statement. Asked for an appology. Told he is terminated, effective immediately. An embarassment beyond belief.

Could someone recap those offensive quotes for me, so I can compose my email to Mr. Heeke and President Ross.

I wonder how CMU president George Ross would feel if those comments were directed at his son...................yes, I wonder.

That was early, when he was shooting the lights out. I don't think I could listen to that stooge again, you're a better man than me, he really was a first class tool. Chimp/Bronco/Red Wing/whatever, I would have called him that.

Nate is not little either. He is clutch though! Can't wait to see the dunk on youtube or something.

I wouldn't bother acting like a Chip. Just say you are a paying customer who was both surprised and offended by those comments. It shouldn't matter who you're rooting for.

If that's the way he wants Central represented, then so be it. It's not like the rest of the state would be shocked at racism in CMU-land. They are what they are.

I'm not acting like a Chip, but will remove "beloved Chips." I'm simply a paying customer who believes a fine institution like Central Michigan is above such a thing.

For what its worth...

Not to discredit this argument, but my wife took a graduate level class at our esteemed Alma Mater, in which the prof stated that racism can only be experienced by minorities. Thus people of the majority race (Caucasian) can never experience racism.

I disagree with the prof.

I tend to disagree with the prof as well...but I just want to point out some of the walls this argument may run into.

at any rate it was fun to ride the bus to Mt. Pleasant today. the weather was awful...glad we decided to let someone else worry about the driving.

Nice letter, but I'd definitely sign it with your name. Anonymous letters just dont have the same power as one where the person believes in it enough to put their name on it.

I probably will, but the fact is it's right there on his webcast for verification.

Well, I wanted to watch the rebroadcast so I could document those insensitive comments. Looks as though they've burned that footage. Nothing so far, other than CMU highlights.

The highlights consist of a half dozen CMU highlights, shown from two or three different camera angles to give the impression their were 18-20 actual highlights.

Come on $9.95 and the best they can do is destroy the evidence? Whose running this thing Seymore and King?
