We know your opinion. But, the "experts" (really not sure who the voters are) considered Solo the best player in the league. Sometimes we don't know what we have, when its right under our nose. Not sure if I thought Derek was the POY before he got the award. I do know that I never thought he was an NBA quality player before he proved how much I knew.

I realize that you know my opinion, and I'm sure you didn't like it, but I never said that he wasn't the best player in the league. I had said in an earlier post that if he was, it simply showed how much the league was down this year. In fact I said a month or so ago that he had surprised me, and that he had done a good job for us this year. I think that I mentioned also that he wasn't a team player.

My statement above didn't go into how good he was or wasn't, but that in my opinion he isn't a team player, and he is all about himself. That's my opinion, and I stand by it. Having the best player in the league didn't do much for our team, finishing next to last, and below .500. Well, maybe it did at that. Without him we might have finished last.
