I'm still in shock. I see murderers every week as part of my job. I've become somewhat immune to reading the case files. But this is different when it involves someone you sort of "know".

Too horrible to even contemplate. I know any of our fans who are aware of this send their thoughts and prayers to this young lady's family.

This happened at what I found out to be near-campus apartments. A place filled mostly with students. Can you imagine what this might be like for them and their parents and friends? I hurt for them. This is awful.

A horrible tragedy. My prayers go to her family and her Raider teammates. The article in the paper mentioned that the crime occured at some apartments. I've never like the idea of college kids(especially the women)living off campus in apartment complexes. This includes our athletes. If I had a college age student nowdays, they would live in a dorm on a campus.

according to The Tennessean she was stabbed by her roommate. Sad. Our prayers are with her family and team.

Was her roommate on the basketball team? Horrible. I have a granddaughter in college, and I can't even imagine how I would feel if something like this happened to her. Scares the hell out of you.

The roommate was NOT a member of the basketball team or in any way associated with MT athletics.

This is sad news.
