NIU vs Wisconsin - Bears Season Tickets
Fyi, I know of a Bears Season Ticket holder who already has his four seats assigned for the Huskie vs. Wisconsin game (200 Level on Club side between the 30's) and a parking pass. He's not a Huskie Season Ticket holder or an HASF donor.

I'm waiting to hear more details like how much he paid, where he's parking and whether or not he pays for a PSL at Soldier Field.

I just thought it was interesting that Huskie Season Ticket holders and HASF donors are not necessarily #1 on the seating priority list.

Don't they pay for seat licenses at Soldier Field? It makes sense they'd get the first crack at their seat for any event.

But those might just apply to season tickets for the Bears. Not sure.

I am a PSL season ticket holder at Soldier Field and didn't get any notice of such a thing. The PSL's are for BEARS games only. They are not valid for other games or concerts, etc. By the way, the seats I will get through NIU will be much better than my BEARS seats.

Wow...PSL's really are a ripoff then. Oh well, at least you get to see the bears.

I'm a PSL owner for the Dallas Cowboys. For events at Cowboys Stadium other than Cowboys games, I know that the promoters for a particular event usually decide whether PSL owners have the opportunity to participate in a presale.

In this case, I would think NIU would be the promoters. Interesting that they wouldn't give first crack to their own.

I am fine with this as long as they are not Wisconsin fans!

I welcome any Bears fan that want to cheer against Wisconsin.

RE: NIU vs Wisconsin - Bears Season Tickets
Here is the official word on this...

"Club seat holders for the bears get first right of refusal to purchase their seats for almost every event held there. They have 8 days to confirm if they want their seats at the full price. This is the same thing we did in 2007. The same thing applies for suite holders."

So basically the 200 & 300 club seats along with the suites will be picked at before the NIU HASF donors.
I still have no problem with this since NIU still gets the money for these tickets and suites.

Just over 600 were purchased in 2007 so we are not talking about that many club seat.

I'm just glad that buying a seat license at least gives the fan SOMETHING for their money.

Just a clarification: Club Seat Holders and PSL Holders are not the same thing. I am a PSL holder for the BEARS but not at the Club Seats.

PSLs are a great thing. I am hoping that NIU Administration wakes up and sells PSLs for the Convo Center. They could tack on an additional few thousand to my BB season ticket cost, and I would then get the right to attend any or all events at the Convo Center!! 04-rock

RE: NIU vs Wisconsin - Bears Season Tickets
A limited supply (73) of NIU vs Wisconsin tickets are for sale on StubHub.com.

The surprising part is that not all of them are club seats which were supposed to be the only tickets pre-sold before HASF people got their shot following season ticket holders and mini plan people before they went on sale to the general public (aka mostly Wisconsin)

52 of the 73 tickets are not apart of the club level presale. I am looking in to this further... Especially on the section that has 50 tickets for sale... It would be interesting if these were tickets that were allotted to Wisconsin but it seems like the wrong corner to me.

At this point I am just glad not to see the good seats already up there.

I could not find another broker selling tickets to this game.
Though I did find one selling NIU vs Army tickets for $85ea though... silly people.
