What about the loss to NON-DIV I Texas College by our very own ULL? At least HBU is Div I, albeit the very worst Div 1 school out there.

Embarrassing to say the least... Who would have thought that The University of Louisiana would be the hottest team in the league right now?? Not I!

My day is delicious so far, how about you??

The Cajuns and the Beard are playing their best basketball when it matters most. We almost were...we were heating up before this little three game skid.

I will say this, I've gone to the tournament the last four years and every year I think I had a pretty good idea of who was going to win it, this year I have absolutely no clue. You guys may have two things to celebrate in early March this year.

Not that I'm even trying to defend this loss, but didn't somebody lose to a DII team?

it was a exhibition game, so doesn't count... might as well been practice!

I have to agree with NCowl that the DII loses don't matter that much other than pride because there is no pressure to win these but this loss to Houston Baptist was the epitome of how bad the league is this year.
I was curious, without looking at schedules, what would everyone consider the "best" win outside the league this year? (so far)
I know that in recent years WKU, USA, or NTU and others have knocked off some pretty solid team, with some Top 25 wins in there even but this year I know WKU has not beat anyone very good. What would be the best win?

UNT beat LSU and Texas Tech this season... not great teams at all, but that would be my first guess.

Just looked this up yesterday... In terms of RPI, it's Hofstra (FAU and WKU) and then Tulsa (UALR). Those are our only Top 100 RPI wins as a league.

MT beat SIU-Edwardsville in OT. If that isn't a good win, I don't know what is.

Too bad we didn't face IUPUI-Ft. Wayne this season. That would've been a real barnburner.
