RE: You go Wisconsin
I will state it again. If you don't like what you are paid or your benefits quit. You do not have a right to a job. My advice is quit.

That is after the told the government for years to shove it up their @$$. They don't want to give up the power. Based on finances, the government should make decisions that are good for tax payers. If next year is worse, then they might need to do it again and go thru the same shoving match.

It is funny, Our government pays the workers, the workers have dues taken out for the unions, the unions give huge money to the elected officials and the elected officials give raises and generous benefits to the workers. All is good.
If I am not mistaken(sombody who knows can correct me if I am wrong-not you Klake) the Unions have a separate fund that is set up expressly for campaigns. The only money that is used for campaigns is the money expressly donated by the Union members into that fund. I suppose they could use funds to generally promote the Union out of another fund(one supporting the Union but not a specific candidate candidate). If this is true, how can you even compalin? Don't donate the money if you don't like what the Union does for you(or leave and get a non-Union job)Of course very one knows which party is going to be endorsed by Unions(not the one that is out to destroy them, that is for sure). As I said, you don't like it, do donate to the fund.

RE: You go Wisconsin
The alternative to Wisconsin (and now Indiana and Ohio) is Illinois. Our yellow-bellied governor caved in to the demands of the union thugs when they protested in Springfield yelling, "Raise my taxes! Raise my taxes!"

interpretation: Raise taxes on non-union members in the private sector to preserve union benefits. Economy be damned! "Some animals are more equal that others."

In order to pay the unions their protection money our income tax is now 67% higher. Illinois is a worker's paradise. No wonder Democrat pols are flocking here.
