The Mercer loss hurts more knowing that North Florida beats ETSU.

Wow.....boy, if UNF can get to the finals, then maybe there's hope for us next year.

Yeah no kidding... seeing this makes me feel better about how Mercer played, and worse knowing they were so close to getting UNF in the final!

RE: 2011 Atlantic Sun Basketball Tournament
As we've seen it's hard for the seeds to hold up in the tournament. We all aren't surprised that Belmont won, but it was still an enjoyable tournament. Mercer has to be considered the 2nd best team in it, and I'm proud of how they fought.
- ETSU was totally flat in both games, which was the biggest shock of the tourney.
- Campbell and Kennesaw were severely outmatched.. (yes Campbell lost by 1, but ETSU was obviously just not very good--- never breaking 55 in two games. Also, Campbell couldn't score themselves.)
- Lipscomb loses again in first round. That's a frustrating feeling that I used to endure on a regular basis.
- Jacksonville is showing they are regular-season-only contenders.

RE: 2011 Atlantic Sun Basketball Tournament
The JU loss to UNF was not unexpected. A Cross-town rival that had played well enough to win both regular season games vs JU. JU had beaten UNF 11 straight and that streak had to end sometime. Unfortunately it ended in the quarter finals of the tourney.

The losses to Stetson and FGCU are just inexplicable. Well maybe not, this was Cliff's second worst shooting team and it caught up with them.

Five straight winning seasons, 90 wins and two regular season titles since Cliff's first disasterous 1-26 season is not so shabby.
