Care to point out where I said they were the biggest reasons I watch football?
BTW, diehards don't want women anywhere near their game?
How's the single life, Swoosh?
it's fine, but that's hardly the point. i fail to see what part of the game women enhance when i'm watching sports. i guess i just can't see it from your point of view. The only female that has anything to do with Giants games is the "sideline" reporter and she's awful. I guess if Katy Perry were doing the job, i'd be happy every time they did a cutaway, but really i could care less

i'm assuming it's to get the crowd amped up, but in pro sports they don't exactly succeed

I always enjoyed the Gamecock cheerleaders, especially in the old days when they'd bend over showing you how well they can spell suggestive things using only the backside of their panties. But that's more for breaks in the action. When the game is on, who pays attention to the cheerleaders, except hormonal teenagers?

in college sports it's to get people amped. why else would they have male cheerleaders? in pro sports, it's just something to fill the time when everyone goes to the bathroom.
Let's say next season the giants (football) decided to add cheerleaders. What would be the difference? I wouldn't go 'OMG the finally have cheerleaders, thank god. Now i look forward to Sundays even more.'

I think they should.
she's smokin' hot, no doubt, but it wouldn't make any difference in my level of enjoyment when i turn on the tv and watch the game
