i've always loved cajuns. knew one in the marine corps named beaudreaux and i could listen to him all day...lol. i didn't know guidry was a cajun....but everyone on our board thought he would be a great pickup since our boy left for unt.

maybe he'll be able to continue what we got started on dee this year. good pickup for willie.

The guy was a high school coach in Lafayette, I think he played for McNeese in Lake Charles, La...

i just watched the presser where they introduced coach guidry as our dc.

this guy is great. we are very excited to have him.

we no doubt hated losing bowen. he improved our defense immensely in one year.

but this guy's enthusiasm and knowledge will be great with our young dee. i'm not basing it on how many stars the kids had on rivals or scout.

all i know is willie brought in true freshmen last year that were beating out juniors and seniors for playing time. i have full confidence that this new class will be given the opportunity for playing time.

willie t and coach guidry both spoke about 'no position is safe' and willie pretty much lived up to that last year....except maybe jakes and none of us could figure that one out.

we is very happy in the commonwealth to have our very own cajun prowling the dee side of the ball now.
