I just thought this would be a nice time for everyone to voice their collective hate for Lipscum. 10 point loss to UNfreakingF. This was taken from an argument I got in with LU 'fan' on ESPN message boards.

"Belmont just wishes they had somebody who had a shot at the NBA."

How's that 2 point outing against UNF looking for your NBA prospect?

Heh, I too despise the Davy Boys but UNF hasn't been "UNfreakingF" for 2 years now. I'll write you a late pass.

Last year only one center was drafted that was under 6'10 and he's playing as a PF for the Lakers. To be an undersized player in the NBA you must have at least two of the following: great strength, athleticism, or outside shot. He is incredibly strong but does not have the intangibles of a Big Baby, Brandon Bass, Carlos Boozer, Kevin Love, Ekpe Udoh, etc that make him stand out. I'm sure he will have a nice career in Europe like many other ASun alum.

AGREED. Hodzic would need to develop an outside game. At best, he could play an undersized PF. The only way Hodzic could EVER consider being in the NBA would be for him to develop an outside game and go in as a strong SF. Not gonna happen. Have fun back in Latvia.
