But if we lose to ULM or whoever next season in football, it won't make me feel any better because we have a cool new football stadium. Whatever, last night was a good game for the most part...good luck the rest of the way.

fauowls561 - Apparently you and I have different ways of coping and looking for positives. Good luck the rest of the way to you as well. Hopefully you start filling that arena of yours.

dahbeed - I won't call an arena a "scrub" unless it averages less than 1,000 fans per game...FAU is a couple hundred clear of that at this point. That Trey Finn reference made me laugh though! Apparently the general public doesn't appreciate realism these days. :ninja:

Congratulations FAU. Your team deserved this win. It is a very disappointing loss for North Texas. Their is no shame in losing to a good FAU team, but quitting, or being shut down at the end of the game is embarrassing. I think we have a better team then that. I hope J.J. ripped them after the game, and our team figures out what they need to do to win. We need to put something together to end the season, if we plan on making any noise in Hot Springs. If we can't do that, then I think this will go down as one of the most disappointing seasons in recent history. Beating Texas Tech and LSU will mean little if we can't win in our own conference, and advance to the Tournament.

I'm very disappointed in this loss.

What the hell has happened to this team?

How do you start 13-2 and then become mediocre? How does that even happen?

Watched the game on MG Premium and I can tell you there was nowhere near 4,000 fans in attendance. Maybe 1,500-2,000 max.

I was actually there, front row looking up at the lower bowl, and I saw roughly the same amount of people we generally have when we get an announced attendance between 3500-4500 people.

Considering the weather and our 3-5 record over the past 8 games, I was amazed.
