In my dream world, Doeren does what Urban Meyer did at Utah. First year, 2 losses, second year BCS bowl game!!

Under the circumstances I'm not sure I'd buy a house either. Unless NIU was facilitating the process and it was a no-brainer from a financial sense.

Does Doeren have kids? Wonder if the wife and kids stay in Madison which, in many regards, is one of the finest cities in the country and ranked among the best places to live and raise a family.

will his wife and kids stay in Wisconsin? What are you talking about. Take a job that he obviosly wanted and not buy here. You think he is Lee Corso. However, I forgot who is suggesting this and we know with certainty that he will be hear 3 yrs. This is a non thought.

Id be elated if he left in 3 years because that would mean we have a program with national prominence, and it would mean he succeeded. One thing we have seen in the Boise State model, once you get things rolling toward that direction, coaching changes do not spell the end because the program is in place to succeed.

I love hearing Dooren say how you will lose and win games with the offensive line. I am sure he is going to try to build the line like Wisky, with bigger guys to create holes. Can't wait for the season to begin.

Yes, and DD is 100% correct. A strong O-line will pull and open holes for the RB and give the QB the time he needs to make his passes (or run). Our O-line is very good now, and we had some GREAT O-lines under Novak. I can't wait to see what the line will be like under DD.
